This tattoo has had an interesting evolution. It started on the side of Carson's neck as a coverup of a partially laser-removed tattoo. After the first session the old tattoo still showed through in spots, so we hit it again and expanded onto the back of the neck, connecting into a gorgeous backpiece by Guy Aitchison. What's more, for this latest session I used Carson's invention, the Neuma air-powered tattoo machine (first session was done with electric machines). You can see how the piece has evolved artistically by clicking on the detail image link, which shows the results of the first session.
